Reflection:
This quote is telling you the importance of Choosing the Right. Choosing the Right is the only way you'll move forward. Choosing the wrong only will bring you down. When you choose the right there are lots of benefits from it such as feeling great about yourself, making others happy, and most likely you will be an inspiration to people. Your actions can benefit a lot of people because they will also want to CTR because it made them feel better and they might want to pass it forward. The importance of CTR is more important than anything. If you do not make the right decisions you will be punished. You will suffer the consequences of doing the wrong things like go to jail or you will lose everyone's trust, loyalty, respect,l and much more. When you Choose the right everybody will look at you as a role model because you're setting a good example.

Class Evaluation

Some things I liked about this class were that we didn't need to use paper to do our work. I also liked that you always encouraged us to do the right thing and try to help us go in the right direction because some of us grew into families that lacked that and weren't encouraging us.
I didn't dislike this class at all I just found it a bit boring like every other class.
I think that an improvement for the class would be to let us listen to music because it helps people to concentrate better.
I think a highlight for me in the class was researching all these careers in the medical field because one day id like to work in the medical field and i got the opportunity to look at careers I've never heard of.
I did do my best in this class because I know its important to get good grades.
I don't need to read my life planning goals journal because i already know all of them in my head :).
I try my best to CTR but I am not a CTR person 24/7.

“THE ULTIMATE CHOICE is to be a CTR Person- to Always CHOOSE THE RIGHT 24/7!!!”

Student Success Statement
“THE ULTIMATE CHOICE is to be a CTR Person- to Always CHOOSE THE RIGHT 24/7!!!”
-Mr. Haymore

Reflection:

This quote is very important. The reason why is because it is telling us that choosing the right is the best thing that we can ever do. It is telling us that choosing the right is what everyone should do, because it is the correct choice. To add on, there are many example of how someone can be a ctr person. An example is if you see a piece of paper on the floor, and you do not pick it up and throw it away, that is an example of ctw. You will be guilty, because you know that you should had picked it up and thrown it away. A CTR example will be picking it up and throwing it away, that is what should had been done. You will be happy knowing that you did the right thing. Another example can be helping someone. For example, if you see someone that is struggling carrying bags to their car then you should help them. You should help them, because that is the right thing to do. What is not correct is just leaving them alone, and letting them struggle. To add on, you should also help them because you never know when you might need the help, or when you might be in their position. You would not like someone just looking at you and walking away. This is why it is important to always make the correct choices, and choose the right. If everyone in this world chose the right, then this world will be a happy and peaceful place, but unfortunately, many people do not choose the right, and many bad things happen. If you do not choose the right, then you may regret it later, because karma might happen to you. As you can see, this is why it is very important for everyone to choose the right. Choosing the right is a choice that everyone should make.

Football

Football
The topic that I choose was football. I choose this topic because football is a really good sport that teaches you a lot of things besides having fun. Football is a very fun contact sport that Walter Camp is responsible for creating. This sport helps you with discipline because if you don't follow the directions there is always a punishment. This game also encourages kids to do good in school because if you're not doing good in school you won't be able to play. This sport also has lots of rules that you must follow or else your team will be penalized.
Some rules are:
False Start: When a football player on the offense moves just prior to the snap. This is a five yard penalty. Note that one back on the offense can legally be "in motion" at the time of the snap.
Offside: If a player from the offense or defense is on the wrong side of the line of scrimmage at the time of the snap. A defensive player can cross the line of scrimmage as long as they get back before the snap, but if they touch an offensive player they can be called for encroachment. Holding: When a player grabs a football player without the ball with the hands or hooks him or tackles him.
Pass Interference: When a defender contacts a pass receiver after the ball is in the air to prevent him from catching the ball. This is up to the referee to determine. If the contact is before the ball is in the air it will be called defensive holding. Note that pass interference can also be called on the offense if the defender has position and is trying to catch the ball.
Facemask: To protect the football players, it is illegal to grab another player's facemask.
Roughing the Passer or Kicker: To protect kickers and quarterbacks, who are very vulnerable when they are passing or kicking the ball, players are not allowed to run into them after the ball has been thrown or kicked.
Intentional Grounding: When the passer throws a pass nowhere near an eligible receiver strictly to avoid being sacked.
Ineligible Receiver Downfield: When one of the offensive players that is not an eligible receiver is more than 5 yards downfield from the line of scrimmage during a forward pass.

Chinese Proverb

Student Success Statement
“If there is beauty in character, there will be harmony in the home, if there is harmony in the home, there will be order in the nation, if there is order in the nation, there will be peace in the world.
Conclusion:
If there is beauty in character there will be peace in the world.”
-Chinese Proverb
Reflection:
I think that this quote is saying that if you have a beautiful character that that can lead to many other things like a chain reaction. It can lead to harmony in the home which will lead to order in the nation and then finally world peace. This also shows how something so small can lead to something so big because having beautiful character is free all you need to do is choose the right.

“A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder.”
-Thomas Carlyle

Reflection:

I think that this quote means that you won't get anywhere in life if you don't have any goals. I think that's what this quote means because if a ship doesn't have a rudder then it won't go anywhere and you most likely won't find something that you like. An example of how this can happen is if you're just being lazy all the time and you'll end up being homeless because you didn't do anything.

Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day Weekend
Reflection:
On Memorial day weekend I went camping. I also went to a ceremony for my brothers boy scouts. Some people I met were people that I know from church at the camp. I did not watch any movies over the weekend. I watched a lot of football videos during the break. I didn't see any CTR experiences. I didn't read any books. I didn't do any homework.

“When a deep injury is done to us, we never recover until we forgive.”
-Alan Paton

Reflection:

I think that this quote means if someone did something to you or a loved one then the only way you'll feel better is if you forgive them for what they did and you’ll recover from the sadness you felt. An example from this would be if someone bullied you for a long time and they finally apologize to you and tell you that there sorry for what they did it will be better to forgive them because you will both feel better than you stopped getting bullied and that the bully decided to do the right thing.

“Dare to do right”

Student Success Statement
“Dare to do right”
-Rex D. Pinegar
Image result for rex d pinegar
Reflection:

I think that this quote means that the only dare you should accept is the dare to do whats right. The reason why i think that he says this is because when people dare you it's commonly something bad rather than something that's good. An example of a dare that is bad and people might ask you to do is to do something like do drugs are do something bad to someone. An example of a good dare would be daring someone to stay in school and do their test even though they might be a little sick or to donate to charity or the homeless.

-Thomas S. Monson

Reflection:

I think that this quote is saying that if everyone is doing something wrong like doing drugs or cheating then you should be brave enough to be the only one that doesn’t take the drug or be the only one that doesn’t cheat. This shows how good of a person you are and can maybe change the other people's behaviors because they didn't want to stand up alone but since you had the courage they will stop to.

I think that this quote or tips are telling you what you need to be successful. “In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing.”
-Theodore Roosevelt

Reflection:
This quote means that you should always do the right thing during a moment of decision. This means whenever you're in a situation where you need to make a quick decision you should always do what is right. A good example was when a Walmart employee found $20,000 in an envelope that belong to a couple and when he noticed the money he sprinted to go find them and give the money back. This was a good example because he had to make a decision whether to give the money back or keep it and he did the right thing and gave the money back to them.

If you do not keep a promise then you are being a liar and you are not a trustful person. Reflection:

This quote is saying that you shouldn't do something because it is not difficult and because everybody else is doing it. Its saying do whats right. If everyone is doing drugs don't do it just because everyone else is doing it. If you need money and you see someone drop some don't pick it up because it's an easy way you get money. You should give it back because that's the right thing to do.
