Class Evaluation

Some things I liked about this class was having free time. I also liked that we didn't need to write anything because we were always on the computer. I also enjoyed researching medical related careers because it inspired me to become one.

Some things i did not like about the class were the songs that will be played. The songs would annoy me and distract me sometimes from my work. I think next time we should listen to calm music that would let us concentrate better. 

I would reccomend to play calm music and less stories and less songs because i hear a lot of people complaining about them.

A highlight from this class was one of the medical pathways we had to do. We had the option to choose our own and I researched a trauma surgeon and now i want to be one.

I did do my best in this class even though it was not my favorite class. Id try my best to get all of my assignments done.

I am not reading my Life planning Goal journal everyday because i dont think they will all come true even if I really try.

I am committed to be a ctr person because I dont want to end up behind bars or in a graveyard.

Reflection:

I think that this means when you tell a lie it becomes a habit and you keep saying lies to cover up for the other ones. And then when you keep lying everyone will know that your lying and nobody will end up believing you even when you tell the truth.

World War 2

1. World War 2 was fought between two groups of countries. On one side were the Axis Powers, including Germany, Italy and Japan. On the other side were the Allies. They included Britain, France, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India, the Soviet Union, China and the United States of America.
2. Most of the combat action took place in Europe, East Asia, and islands in the Pacific Ocean, but others were seen in places as far away as Madagascar and the Aleutian Islands.

• 1939 September 1 - Germany invades Poland. World War II begins.
• 1939 September 3 - France and Great Britain declare war on Germany.
• 1940 April 9 to June 9 - Germany invades and takes control of Denmark and Norway.  
• 1940 May 10 to June 22 - Germany uses quick strikes called blitzkrieg, meaning lightning war, to take over much of western Europe including the Netherlands, Belgium, and northern France.
• 1940 May 30 - Winston Churchill becomes leader of the British government.
• 1940 June 10 - Italy enters the war as a member of the Axis powers.
• 1940 July 10 - Germany launches an air attack on Great Britain. These attacks last until the end of October and are known as the Battle of Britain.
• 1940 September 22 - Germany, Italy, and Japan sign the Tripartite Pact creating the Axis Alliance.
• 1941 June 22 - Germany and the Axis Powers attack Russia with a huge force of over four million troops.
• 1941 December 7 - The Japanese attack the US Navy in Pearl Harbor. The next day the US enters World War II on the side of the Allies.
• 1942 June 4 - The US Navy defeats the Japanese navy at the Battle of Midway.

I think that this quote means if you are sick you won't want to do anything or try to do anything but if you are a healthy person you will want to do more activities. I can be a healthy person by not using drugs.

Health Sciences Librarian

Health Sciences Librarian

Duties and responsibilities:

Medical librarians are information specialists who provide assistance in finding medical documents. Clinical trials, medical treatments or procedures, as well as other pertinent information that applies to the medical industry are common documents sought after by these librarians. Medical librarians are specialized in using databases and reference materials to conduct research for medical information. They can work in medical school libraries, corporations, non-profit organizations or government agencies. Medical librarians commonly have training in the sciences, health or medicine. They might also be trained in the information sciences to acquire the skills needed to maintain databases.

Salary: $56,880

Education: 4-year baccalaureate program in any discipline they choose. The most common majors for health science librarians include biology, library sciences, management, or health information. Students are encouraged to include as many computer and technology courses in their undergraduate work as possible. Students are also required to have a master's degree in Library and Information Science (MLS) from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited school.

Demand: Most librarians need a master’s degree in library science. Some positions have additional requirements, such as a teaching certificate or a degree in another field.

Reflection:

I think that this quote means in order to be a great person you need to be kind. Being kind makes you a great person because nobody likes a rude mean person. Everyone likes people that are kind and when you're kind your great.

Thanksgiving week

I played video games and ate turkey. I didn't go anywhere during the break. I met my family. A movie I watched was insidious. I played football and basketball. A CTR experience I had was helping my mom make the food( I didn't have an option though). I didn't read any books. I did extra credit for math and wrote an essay for english.

I think that this quote means your manners determine what type of person you are. An example would be if you have bad manners that you'll be a bad person and that if you have good manners then you'll be a good person. If you do things like helping people or say nice thing you'll be a good person but if you don't do things like that you will be a bad person.

I think that this quote means if something isn’t right you shouldn't be doing it and if something isn’t true then don't say it. For example, if someone told you something that wasn’t true, then you shouldn't go telling everyone because you know it's a lie and if someone tells you to do something that's not right you shouldn't do it because you know that it isn't right thing to do.

I think that this quote means the only thing that's important is doing the right thing and to be a fair and honorable person. For example, if you're playing a game and you see someone down you should give them a hand whether they're on your team or not.

I think that this means you need to do the most you can and more than others expect of you. This means to work extra hard on everything such as homework class work studying. You shouldn't excuse yourself from doing that by doing a lot less and being satisfied with that. You should always do more and more.

This means that if you say no, face the truth, and do the right thing you will be a CTR person. An example of living with integrity is if someone offers you drugs and you say no, standing up for something thats is wrong and doing the right thing.

I think that this means if you hang around with bad people you won't go nowhere but if you are wise and hang around with the right people you will become a ctr person. If you hang out with people that do drugs and ditch school then you will be lost the rest of your life but if you hang around with people who study and have good grades and don't do drugs then you're on the right path.

The Gainesville Tornadoes Summary

Summary:

I think that what the other team did was really nice because normally when the Gainsville Tornadoes play they dont have an audience but this time the other team cheered for the tornadoes and even gave them cheerleaders to help cheer them on.

The best recreation is to do good

I think that this quote means the best way you can re create yourself is by doing good. I think that doing good things is the best recreation because whenever you do good you feel bad and if you do something bad you will feel bad and it is also the worst way to re create yourself.

I think that this means even though everyone is against something that's right doesn't mean that it's wrong and if everyone is for something that is wrong doesn't make it wrong because it's still right. An example would be if everyone is for doing drugs that doesn't make is right and if everyone is against obeying the law that doesn't mean its right to disobey they law because its still wrong.

I think that this quote means that if you want to do something right now, don't sacrifice what you want the most for what you want now. An example is if you want to go to the gym everyday to put on muscle. If you want to do that but your friends invite you to the movies you can't sacrifice what you want right now than what you want the most.

After I achieved my goal i felt better becasue I know i wanted to do something and i did it because i worked hard for it. I think that this quote means obedience might get you frustrated but at the same time its helping you. Its helping you because your being obedient. When your obedient your choosing the right. When your not obedient and don't follow the rules then your choosing the wrong. It may seem irritating because we may not always agree with the rules or you might just not want to do it but then when you do follow the rules you feel good because you know that you choose the right.
