Reflection:
I think that he is saying he believes after working so hard something great will happen because of all of his effort he put in. An example of what might happen because of his hard work is becoming a famous basketball player or becoming very involved with his church.

Reflection:

I think Brigham Young is trying to say that if you are doing whats right youll be free to do what you want to do. An example is choosing the right because you're doing the right thing and that can give you independence and freedom.

Many think that the short term gain will be worth the long term pain, but it isn’t. In addition, using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports that a cheater. Don't do it.

Student Success Statement
“Many think that the short term gain will be worth the long term pain, but it isn’t. In addition, using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports that a cheater. Don't do it.”
-George Mitchell
Reflection:

This quote is saying that cheating is bad and nobody likes a cheater. He is also saying how the pain you'll have for the rest of your life for cheating is not worse than the short term gain of winning and being the best. You don't need to be the best in order to feel good about yourself. If you want to be the best and cheat at it then you won't be the best inside knowing that you cheated and lied.

This quote is a promise saying that you will not cheat. Dale Murphy made an organization called I won't cheat to teach kids not to cheat and how there are no shortcuts to success. You need to work hard for yourself to be successful and there is no easy way in or out.

“Character Matters Most”
-Dale Murphy

Reflection:

I think that this quote means the only thing that matters about you is your character. It doesn't matter if you're rich or poor, or if you have a good job. The only thing that matters is if you have good character which means you are humble, trustworthy, kind, and an overall good person.

St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day
1. Who was St Patrick?
Saint Patrick was a fifth-century Romano-British Christian missionary and bishop in Ireland.
2. What is the purpose of St. Patrick's Day?
St. Patrick's Day celebrates the Roman Catholic feast day of the patron saint of Ireland.
3. Why is St Patrick's Day designated and when is it?
This Irish holiday is always celebrated on March 17, which is the day that Saint Patrick died.
4. Why a certain color on St Patrick’s Day?

St. Patrick's revelers thought wearing green made one invisible to leprechauns, fairy creatures who would pinch anyone they could see (anyone not wearing green). People began pinching those who didn't wear green as a reminder that leprechauns would sneak up and pinch green-abstainers.
